St. George
Whole-home softening and filtration for homes across St. George and Washington County. We start with a free assessment of what is actually in your water, then tell you which system fits your house and what it costs.
Most water problems in St. George come down to one of these three. Each one is treated differently, which is why the assessment comes first.
The City of St. George's own 2024 water quality report says most water sources in Southern Utah are hard, from the calcium and magnesium the water picks up in the Navajo Sandstone and Kayenta aquifers, and it tells customers with softeners to plan on settings between 13 and 24 grains per gallon. Anything above 10 counts as hard, and the whole of that range clears it.
St. George blends its own wells and springs with Virgin River water treated at the Quail Creek plant, and most homes get a mix of the two through the year. The city's 2025 report lists total dissolved solids from 118 to 936 parts per million across its groundwater sources and 580 from Quail Creek, and it reports arsenic from natural deposits in some wells, kept under the EPA limit by blending sources.
St. George disinfects with chlorine, and the city's 2025 report shows it in the distribution system from 0.10 to 1.23 parts per million, with disinfection byproducts measured from 4.2 to 54.6 parts per billion against a limit of 80. That is the taste and smell most people notice first at the tap, and the carbon stage is the part of the system that deals with it.
Chlorine, chloramine and PFAS
You can usually taste it.
Most people cannot.
Nobody can.
Which is why the assessment starts with what your utility publishes about St. George water, not a guess.

Enough floor for the tanks plus room to open the cabinet lid and get to the bypass.
Top up the cabinet when it runs low. That is the whole routine, and the setup notes cover it.
